The basket atop a ship’s mast. This spot afforded a lookout the best view of other ships, distant land or approaching hazards.
From the lofty vantage of the Fourth tee high above the green, the player must decide whether or not to carry the creek which cuts through the fairway at 180 yards. The longer players may have a go for the green right off the tee. Once there, they will find one of Boothbay's prettiest views back to the tee… but one of its most difficult putting surfaces, as well.
